Softwashing is a safe and very effective low pressure cleaning and sanitizing method, for both domestic and commercial properties. It uses purpose built low pressure equipment that will effectively clean, and sanitize exterior surfaces with a variety of eco-friendly chemicals.  Soft washing chemicals can be applied at the correct blends and ratios for quick and lasting effects on most surfaces including.
Natural stone and brickwork - Block paving - Patios - Pebbledash - Roughcast - All roofs - Fences - Decking - Kids Play - All Cladding - Facias - Tarmac and much more..
 

Each individual surface with distinct contaminants requires a tailored soft washing solution for best results. Our solution is mixed on site for optimal results for the task required. This way we customize our approach to maximize the results whilst also achieving cost effectiveness.
 

Soft washing will kill the spores and treat unwanted biological growth of fungus, moss, red and green algae, bacteria, lichen, pollen, mold and other forms of growth on the target surface.  The chemicals are Eco-friendly and do not “bio accumulate”, meaning they break down rapidly on contact with soil to give it a very low environmental footprint. The work area is rinsed unless a residual biocide is applied and once dry is perfectly safe for children and pets etc.

Our machines work at 145psi maximum which about the same as a household tap, unlike our pressure washer which is about 4000psi. This means there is no damage to delicate surfaces or pointing. Using a high pressure washer on render or such surfaces can cause tremendous damage opening up the surface to create a further more porous surface for additional colonization of algae etc. and often striping of the surface.
We can reach high elevations up to 10 meters using full carbon fibre water fed poles, with either nozzles or brushes fitted.  Above that height we have access to scaffold or cherry pickers should we need them.
 

Once finished we can also apply a residual biocide which can keep working along with the British weather to provide a long term clean. This means it can keep surfaces clean for up to 4 years following treatment, dependent on weather conditions and position of property.

You have a couple of options regarding how we tackle the cleaning of your exterior surfaces.  
Either HARDWASH or SOFTWASH.  I will explain the HARDWASH option in this section.
There will be specific information on the SOFTWASH process in the other softwash services box.

HARDWASH is just another name for Pressure Washing, using either Steam or Cold Pressure Washers. 

These machines are the best in the business and have fully variable pressure valves.
The Steam Pressure Washer is excellent when lower pressure is needed because
the surface is delicate or there are stubborn stains.

 

the process is as follows.....
1.  exterior surfaces to be cleaned will have a fast cleanz chemical applied,  this chemical will
quickly kill any organic/biological growth on your surface in preparation for the cleaning.

2.  All areas will now be cleaned using the agreed method,
3.  if requested biocide chemical can now be applied giving the surface a perpetual clean.
4.  We can also offer to resand & seal any patios, slabs or monoblock.

This service will make an incredible difference to the curb appeal of your house, 
leaving your surfaces with that just installed look and THEY WILL BE much safer underfoot.
